To split your slab shape follow these steps.

Step 1: open your quote with the quote tool

Step 2: Click Layout Mode at the top of your screen

Step 3: Choose the split shape option

Step 4: Place your mouse on the edge of the shape where you want to split the shape

Step 5: Click at that point to cut the shape
